80% of our waste ends up in incineration or pollutes the environment

  • Until 2050 the yearly global volume of waste will increase by 70% to 3,4 billion tons

  • In Germany, only about 27% of collected plastic material is recycled

  • Until now, waste can not be sorted and recycled in an economically feasible way

  • Collecting and sorting waste is one of the prerequisites for a circular economy

Our vision and mission

We want to enable 100% of our resources to be recycled in the sense of a circular economy. Sorting waste is a necessity to work towards our vision.

To achieve our vision, we develop solutions based on artificial intelligence, which enable us to sort more materials while simultaneously being economically feasible.

About us

We at WeSort.AI have specialized in the granular analysis and sorting of waste objects using artificial intelligence. As a tech startup from Würzburg, we have special know-how in deep learning object recognition and segmentation. We want to make a significant contribution to the resource cycle that is so urgently needed. We started in the summer of 2021 with the renowned "Flügge" start-up grant from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs.
