Its first dedicated premises: WeSort.AI is moving

Our own premises, our own rules: We’ve moved – with more space for our team and our machines. What this means for WeSort.AI and our customers.

The first thing I reached for after the move wasn’t a tool, but the coffee machine. Then came the rest: we’ve moved a few times since 2022, but this time it’s different.
New address: Ossietzkystraße 8 in Würzburg. Rented, not bought, but all to ourselves.
Two brothers, a beginning
In 2022, Johannes and Nathanael Laier founded WeSort.AI in Würzburg – starting with an idea that quickly grew beyond expectations. New clients, new systems, new colleagues: things happened in quick succession, and with every step we took, space became increasingly tight.
For the past two years or so, we were based at 3 Leightonstraße in the Mainfranken Centre for Digital Innovation (ZDI). Now we’re at 8 Ossietzkystraße – and, for the first time, truly in our own home.
Offices and workshop under one roof
What’s really changing: the office and the warehouse are now right next door to each other. Over 300 square metres of office space, with a 2,000-square-metre warehouse for our systems right next to it.
This means we can run through more use cases in less time, and we’ll soon be able to host Demo Days on our own premises, rather than having to organise venues elsewhere.
“We really felt at home at the ZDI, but at some point every corner was taken. The new facility finally gives us the space we need to test and grow,” says Johannes Laier, co-CEO and co-founder of WeSort.AI.
X.Sort and Vision.Sort coming soon
By the end of the year, all the machines should be up and running in the new hall. Interested parties will then be able to experience X.Sort and Vision.Sort at our premises. If you’d like to see the systems before then, please do get in touch.
