WeSort. AI GmbH is a high-tech start-up that is revolutionising recycling through artificial intelligence. This is how we make our contribution to the urgently needed circular economy, because our deep learning systems enable both granular analysis and sorting of e.g. electronic waste and plastics. This year, we were one of six start-ups nationwide to be awarded the prestigious Gründerpreis plus by the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWK). We are also working on research projects with partners such as Fraunhofer and Siemens to put a stop to climate change and pollution of the oceans. For this, we need a strong team that shares our values and is committed to this vision/mission. As part of the German government's national AI strategy, we have received funding that will allow us to build our team and company sustainably and profitably for years to come.  


As a full-time Senior Sales Manager in B2B for AI Recycling Systems, you will be the key factor in the nationwide placement of our novel sorting systems and software for e-waste and plastic packaging. You represent our company, systems and values both to customers and the public. You establish and maintain customer relationships with industry leaders and expand our network across Europe. You shape internal processes with us and thus the future of the company.


Your challenges:​​​​

  • Market analysis and target group definition for new products and use cases 

  • Lead generation and customer acquisition in a new market 

  • Building a dynamic sales team from scratch 

  • Customer relationship management 

  • Contract negotiations with major corporations 

  • Developing marketing and sales strategies 

  • Gathering feedback from customers and passing it on to the development team 

  • Building strategic partnerships 

  • Setting sales targets and monitoring sales performance 

  • Participating in start-up events and speaking engagements


What you bring:​​​​

  • Completed studies in the technical or economic field 

  • Several years of experience in technical sales of complex projects 

  • Ideally, you have experience in the areas of brand development and placement of novel products 

  • You have very good communication and presentation skills 

  • You have a good feeling for negotiations 

  • You have experience with CRM tools  

  • You work independently, systematically and persistently 

  • You think and act entrepreneurially 

  • You have excellent German and English skills

Also helpful are:​​​​

  • Professional experience in key account management Project management and team leadership 

  • Professional experience in recycling 

  • Professional experience in engineering and software 

  • Understanding of artificial intelligence
