WeSort.AI GmbH is a high-tech start-up from Würzburg that is revolutionizing recycling through artificial intelligence and is thus making a significant contribution to the urgently needed circular economy. Our deep learning systems enable both granular analysis and sorting of, for example, electronic waste and various plastics. In 2023, we were one of six start-ups nationwide to be awarded the prestigious Founders' Prize plus from the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWK) for our systems. In 2024, we received the next major award as one of the winners of the German Founders' Prize, initiated by Stern, Sparkasse, ZDF and Porsche.

In addition, at WeSort.AI we work on research projects with well-known partners such as Fraunhofer and Siemens to combat climate change and ocean pollution.

Contract duration: unlimited

Working hours: Minijob or part-time (approx. 10 hours/week)

Home office: 75%

This is your new passion

  • Management of personnel processes including job advertisements 

  • Independent support of the entire operational employee lifecycle from contract creation to offboarding 

  • Responsibility for the creation of certificates of all kinds, management of master data and archiving of relevant documents for the personnel file  

  • Implementation of team events, retrospectives and workshops 

  • Development of a performance management system 

  • Smooth handling of all administrative HR processes together as a team 

  • Active support in the optimization and digitalization of HR processes or proactive project collaboration 

  • Organization and communication of further training offers 

  • Close cooperation with management and other departments and support with operational and organizational tasks, e.g. payroll preparation, appointment coordination and travel planning

Preferred qualifications

  • Completed commercial training with further training as a personnel specialist or a comparable qualification 

  • Completed studies in the field of business administration an advantage 

  • Experience in independently processing the lifecycle (recruiting, new hires, departures, etc.) 

  • Experience in dealing with issues relating to labor law and social security law 

  • Basic experience and knowledge of payroll accounting, knowledge of drawing up contracts 

  • Experience in conducting employee appraisals and organizing team events 

  • Good Office skills for creating evaluations and presentations 

  • Good written and spoken German and English skills 

  • Reliability, discretion and confidentiality as a matter of course for all HR activities 

Minimum qualifications

  • Completed commercial training or comparable qualification 

  • Several years of professional experience in the personnel, secretarial or assistance area 

  • Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

  • Strong organizational skills and careful working methods 

  • Good written and spoken German and English skills 

  • Self-evident reliability, discretion and confidentiality for all HR activities 

  • Flexibility, willingness to learn and a strong hands-on mentality
