Any artificial intelligence is only as good as the data set with which it is trained. As a machine operator, you are responsible for planning, generating and managing the data sets. On the one hand, you will work actively on recording suitable image data using state-of-the-art X-ray systems and, on the other hand, you will get easy access to modern cloud software from Microsoft Azure to upload the data to our data center. Through close exchange with the AI development team, as a practical person with organizational talent, you will gain an insight into current future technologies. The WeSort. AI GmbH is a high-tech start-up from Würzburg that is revolutionizing recycling through artificial intelligence and thus making a significant contribution to the urgently needed circular economy. Our deep learning systems enable both granular analysis and sorting of, for example, electronic waste and various plastics.

Tasks

Your challenges:​​​​

• X-ray image generation: You are responsible for generating x-ray images of old electrical devices with lithium-ion batteries. You ensure that our machines work precisely and efficiently to provide high-quality data for our recycling processes.

• Logistics support: You actively support logistical processes, including the delivery of devices or plastic waste. You ensure that our recycling plant runs smoothly and help ensure that all resources are used optimally.

• System optimization and maintenance: You will work on optimizing and maintaining our X-ray system to ensure it is always in the best possible condition. This enables us to continually increase the efficiency of our recycling processes.
